Q. Can I register to play for only a portion of the day?
A. No. By registering, you are committing to play the entire 12-hour tournament.
Q. Can I be on my friend's team?
A. During the registration process, you will have the option to name one player you would like to be teamed up with. While we try our best to accommodate everyone's requests (and we usually do), it may not be possible. If not, we promise you'll be sure to meet some awesome people and have a great time anyway!
Q. What if there's a snowstorm?
A. The Skate Pink team, and the community, look forward to this day all year round. Because we are committed to this event, Skate Pink runs rain or shine, or in this case, snow. If there should be a snowstorm, please make sure to give yourself plenty of time to arrive safely.
Q. Do I have to wear my full equipment?
A. Yes, full equipment must be worn with the exception of shoulder pads.
Q. Can I invite my friends and family to come watch?
A. Absolutely! The more the merrier! In addition to the main ringette tournament, there will be other events and activities for your friends and family to enjoy. Refer to the Schedule of Events on the Home page.
Q. Do I need to bring food?
A. You can bring food if you'd like, but the canteen will be open all day. Don't forget about the Bud, Spud & Steak in Honor of Dylan Berard at 6 pm. Tickets are 20$ and can be purchased at the entrance, though we recommend you buy them early in the day as we often sell out.
St. Jean also has a great restaurant, Bistro 758, and if you need extra snacks throughout the day, St. Jean Foods is right next door.
Q. Are there any accommodations near by?
A. Yes, there is the Stampede Inn located in Morris.
Q. Are drinks available?
A. In the St. Jean Arena, alcoholic beverages may be purchased at the Swamp Shack.
Q. Do I have to pay to get into the social?
A. Social tickets are included in player registration, but for anyone wanting to attend who didn't play in the tournament, tickets are 10$. Hope to see you all there, should be a hoot!
